As soon as I heard about innovation I knew it would be a winner. Dnb, or anything other than techno actually, is not too popular in Amsterdam and after 6 months of monotonous beats we were more than ready for a load of jump up. And at innovation we got exactly that, with a huge venue on the Saturday and a massive swarm of 5000 rave heads the night turned out to bloomin sick.
It was a slow start to the night with everyone still in a zombie like state after the first round at melkweg the night before, but everyone soon perked up as the beats started rollin in.
North Sea venue was an ace place to hold the night and the lockers meant you missed out on losing everything you own whilst jumping around like a nutter for 6 hours.
So, in all, If a west weekend of jump up dnb is what your after innovation in the dam is the one.
